I write here to give order to my thoughts and learnings. Best read on a PC.

Hi, I’m Aditya.

I’m a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) engineer working in aerodynamics and aeroacoustics, primarily in the automotive domain. My work focuses on understanding (and optimizing0 how air moves around vehicles, reducing aerodynamic drag and wind noise, and developing simulation methodologies and automation tools to make the engineering workflows more efficient.

This…place.. is a collection of my engineering notes, technical explorations, and things I’ve learned while working with CFD, simulation software, or even insights I obtained from test labs. Rather than presenting polished tutorials alone, I also enjoy documenting the fundamental reasonings behind problems or phenomenon, trying to look at them from the very basic understanding. As Feynman had said:

“You don’t understand what you think you understand. And I can prove it. Simple test: Explain it to a child. No jargon. No technical terms. Plain language. Can’t do it? Then you don’t understand it.”

Outside engineering, I’m fascinated by astronomy, history, languages, and the ways different cultures have approached knowledge and craftsmanship over time. This being the technical side, I store some of them here to keep order in my thoughts and learnings. Those interests occasionally influence how I think about engineering - patiently, analytically, and with a desire to understand first principles.

I hope these articles - if they even reach anyone perchance - are useful to fellow engineers, students, and anyone curious about the physics behind computational simulation.
